2024 Market Season
Why there are only 3 indoor markets in 2024.
Due to the proliferation of multiple outdoor markets in Ottawa's west end we made the decision not to host an outdoor market season in 2024. Last year we counted 6 weekend markets in the area. Attendance had dropped and the market organisers had limited available time in 2024. For those that would like to go attend an outdoor market in the local area the closest outdoor market to Richmond is the North Gower Saturday market.
We are hosting 3 indoor markets in 2024 at the arena 6095 Perth St, Richmond, in the upstairs hall.
All of the markets are juried to be able to have the widest variety of vendors as well as avoiding duplication of products.
In regards to MLM companies we will only be allowing a very small number of MLM representatives with products that do not directly compete with artisans and makers. roughly 2% of total vendors.
